Tuina

Tuina is traditional Chinese Massage, It is extremely effective in treating a wide range of conditions.

It incorporates all the benefits of Western massage techniques, working on muscles and connective tissue, the blood and lymph circulation and the energy levels of the body.

Instead of using needles, finger and thumb are used on acupunture points and massage is used along the channels of energy. It has been practised for thousands of years in China and it is mentioned in the Yellow Emperor's Classic of Internal Medicine, the Nei Jing.

Today it is used extensively in Chinese hospitals along with acupuncture and herbal medicine.
