“With my anxiety and anger issues, which I have suffered all my life, getting totally out of control I needed help. I firmly believed the only route to go down was a medical one and only went to see Tasha at Body & Mind to ask her professional advice to whether this was the right route. At my first session I advised Tasha that I had previously had CBT and other mind therapies and with no disrespect intended, somebody taught through a textbook couldn’t help me. Tasha simply smiled and advised that a doctor could only advise on medication, but please give her a chance – despite my reservations I reluctantly agreed.
Thankfully – I was totally wrong!
Tasha was extremely easy to talk to and surprisingly for me I was able to completely open up to her about all my issues. Although extremely professional and qualified in all aspects of psychology, talking to Tasha felt like talking to a normal friend and each session seemed tailored to me and my needs. I can honestly say after a few sessions with Tasha I had become a much calmer person, and my mind had been changed to, ‘look at the bigger picture’ which has completely changed myself as a person and controlled my anger demons.
I now look forward to my weekly appointments with Tasha, where I feel free to talk openly about anything I choose. Tasha has not only helped me with my anxiety but has also helped with other issues in my life that I have never wanted to explore. I have now been able to talk more openly with family and friends and this has made life a whole lot better.
