I use my skills and experience to focus on how to treat a client's problem. Since I started work as a Band 4 Therapist in a neuro-clinic, my view of being a therapist completely changed from being a job to being a calling. I understand the effects of pain and health problems have on a person, especially if they have a disability, illness or injury that could cause them to lose their job, whilst having a family to support. Gradually with treatment, I began to see my client's improve and smile again. My aim is to help everyone to smile again; for me this is a great achievement and I believe it is the real meaning of being a therapist.
My passion for my career as a therapist helped me to become the therapist for the Libyan national basketball team. My special interests are focused on musculoskeletal (MSK) pain management, especially clients' experience of chronic MSK pain. Through treating soft tissue by combining massage (including myofascial release and trigger point) and manipulation or movement, I can help clients to cope with pain and to improve their general health.
I am a very social person, I like meeting people and I am friendly, caring and supportive. I also enjoy getting to know about other cultures.
