Currently, there are two organisations responsible for the regulation of therapists that specialise solely in the rehabilitation musculoskeletal injuries; The Society of Sports Therapist and the British Association of Sports Rehabilitators and Trainers. These organisations comprise highly skilled individuals that have spent a minimum of 3 years training specifically in the field of musculoskeletal rehabilitation.
Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) views the body very differently, considering the whole rather than the part. Everything is connected and an imbalance in one part of the body affects others. This is the holistic view of TCM.
