I have a psychology degree and a masters in counselling. I have been trained in Person Centred Theory, Cognitive Behavioural Therapies and Psychodynamic therapy. I also have accessed substance misuse training, Trauma and NHS ACT training. I am trained in mindfulness, and this can be integrated into therapy in a variety of ways. I also have a background working with children as a Pastoral lead/safeguarding officer, offering emotional support and building children’s resilience and exploring emotions.

I provide a person-centred approach, where we will work together to meet your needs and I am here to support you throughout this journey. We will establish a way of working that suits us both, utilising the skills I have acquired. My passion is to explore where thoughts and behaviours evolved from and finding effective ways to either change or manage these with coping techniques. Humans are all individual and unique, which is what makes us so special, therefore tailoring therapy to each individual is important to me.
