Emotional Freedom Technique - EFT
EFT is a psychological acupressure technique, based on the same principle as traditional acupuncture; only this technique uses tapping instead of using needles.
The way that EFT works is that you verbalise, in a specific manner and focus on the thought, feeling or image that you want to work with. At the same time you tap with your fingers on points on your meridians, (the same channels that are used in acupuncture and which flow throughout the body), that are beneath the surface of the skin. The tapping helps to facilitate the release of blockages within the meridian system, which can then create positive change, helping to remove negative emotions, reduce or eliminate pain or reduce cravings.
EFT restores awareness and creates natural balance, allowing the body and mind to return to a healthier physical and emotional state.
