Basil Essential Oil

Basil Essential oil has a light, fresh, sweet-spicy scent and is often used an insect repellant.  An uplifting fragrance that blends well with Bergamot, Lavender, Cypress, White Fir, Geranium, Helichrysum, Peppermint, Lemongrass, Marjoram, Cedarwood, Clary Sage, Ginger, Grapefruit and Lemon.

Essential oils should not be applied directly to the skin and are usually mixed with a base or carrier oil like sweet almond, grapeseed, jojoba or avocado.  Add a few drops to your bath water, or you can use this oil for a pleasant fragrance in an oil burner or diffuser.
