Carrot Seed Essential Oil

Carrot Seed Oil is used to soothe dry skin.  Typically dark yellow in colour it has an earthy, wood fragrance.  Mix 3-5 drops of Carrot Seed Essential Oil with 1 teaspoon of your preferred carrier oil and you have a wonderful, homemade moisturiser that can be applied directly to the skin.

Essential oils should not be applied directly to the skin and are usually mixed with a base or carrier oil like sweet almond, grapeseed, jojoba or avocado.  Add a few drops to your bath water, or you can use this oil for a pleasant fragrance in an oil burner or diffuser.
