According to Government research, inactivity affects 60-70% of the adult population, which is more than smoking, alcohol misuse and obesity combined, says the Chief Medical Officer – The health benefits of physical activity are huge. If a medication existed which had a similar effect, it would be regarded as a wonder drug.
