Botanical Name:  Calendula Officinalis.

The Calendula or Marigold plant is so widely grown that its precise origin is hard to pinpoint. It is a short-lived, yet hardy perennial plant that will grow in almost any soil. It is also considered edible and the flower can be used in recipes and salads to add colour.

The oil itself is versatile and is said to help with skin complaints and have anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial properties. Calendula oil is widely used in the cosmetics industry for those reasons, as well as for being an astringent and for its  skin-tightening properties.

Our Calendula Base Oil is sourced from France and is supplied in 100ml glass bottles and all 100% natural.
