Body & Mind Therapy Centre began in 1999, founded by Hazel Stopford and Pascal Bourguignon in Stalybridge with a simple but powerful vision – to help people live healthier, happier lives. Their belief in supporting the whole person through complementary therapies became the heart of the business and continues to guide everything we do today.
As the centre grew, Pascal moved on to form a separate business to focus on web services and now supports us behind the scenes in managing our online presence. Hazel continued to develop the centre, moving from the original two-room space in Stalybridge to our current home on Arundel Street in Mossley. With six treatment rooms, we’ve been able to welcome more clients, offer more therapies and build a strong reputation for professional, caring treatment.
Over the years, our mission has remained the same: to provide a place where people feel listened to, supported and empowered to take care of their wellbeing. Every therapist who joins us is chosen not only for their skills and expertise, but also for their genuine passion for helping others improve or maintain their health.
We are proud of how far we’ve come – and even more excited about the work still to do. Body & Mind Therapy Centre continues to be a space of healing, growth and positive change, and we look forward to guiding many more people on their journey to better wellbeing.
