Our full range of massages, from indulgence to prevention, maintenance and injury management:

Sports Therapy: Suitable for anyone experiencing back pain, shoulder pain, loss of mobility, restricted range of movement and posture-related problems.  Your sports therapist will conduct a thorough assessment, deliver the appropriate treatment (usually Remedial Massage), develop a treatment plan and recommend exercises, if appropriate.  A bit like a body “MOT”!

Remedial MassageIf you’re suffering from muscle pain, stiffness or injury, then Remedial massage can help repair your damaged muscles, restore mobility and flexibility and decrease pain.  Each client is assessed and treated based on their individual needs by a therapist with specialist skills and knowledge.

Deep Tissue Massage: A full body massage aimed at relieving pain and stiffness in muscles and joints by getting into the deeper muscle layers.  You won’t fall asleep while you’re having this massage!  Ideal for dealing with deep-seated muscle tension.

Sports Massage: Suitable for people of all abilities, not just the sporty ones!  Your therapist will concentrate on any particular problem areas you may have, using their skill to improve circulation, promote recovery, decrease muscle tension and improve flexibility.  When received regularly, sports massage is also great for keeping you in top condition and reducing injury risk.

Manual Lymphatic Drainage Massage: Lymphatic drainage massage is a gentle massage that uses light stroking techniques to help the movement of lymph fluides through the body and to encourage the drainage of lymph nodes. It is beneficial for people with lymphoedema, oedema and other health conditions where there is a build up of lymphatic fluid in the body.

Cupping: Cupping is a branch of Traditional Chinese Medicine that has been practiced for thousands of years. During treatment a cup is placed on the skin and either heated or suctioned onto the skin. Commonly used by athletes to reduce pain and promote natural healing, cupping is becoming increasingly popular and is often used to help ease the symptoms of back, neck, knee and shoulder pain, arthritis, headaches and migraines.

AromatherapyOur gentlest, lightest massage utilising the power of aromatherapy oils blended specifically for your needs.  A deeply nurturing treatment suitable for people of all ages and a fabulous way to relax.  Great for those experiencing a variety of health issues, including stress, insomnia, migraine and muscle tension.

Warm Bamboo Massage: Warm bamboo massage uses heated bamboo stalks of varying sizes to provide deep-tissue massage to the body. The sticks are heated to the required temperature and the heat from the sticks, combined with a variety of massage techniques helps to reach the deeper layers of muscle to promote circulation, lymphatic drainage, stress reduction and relaxation. Techniques can include elements of eastern bodywork disciplines, inlcuding shiatsu, thai massage and ayruveda.

Indian Head Massage: A soothing massage delivered to the upper back, shoulders, neck, face and scalp to relieve tension and ease joint movement.  Ideal for anyone experiencing stress, insomnia, migraine and tension headaches.

Swedish Massage: Depending upon your needs, Swedish Massage can be either a lighter or deeper massage, concentrating on the back, neck, shoulders and legs.  A popular choice for people looking to unwind, relax and de-stress.

Pregnancy Massage: Suitable from the 2nd trimester onwards, pregnancy massage is a wonderful way for mums-to-be to relax.  Your therapist will make sure you are comfortable throughout the massage and will use bolsters and pillows for your maximum comfort.  This massage makes a wonderfully thoughtful gift and is great for helping alleviate backache!

Thermal Stone Massage:  Massage is a perfect way to nurture our bodies and ourselves. Incorporating stones into a treatment can enhance the power of this contact. Special smooth lava stones are heated to a comfortably warm temperature prior to treatment. When applied to the body, the direct heat relaxes muscles much more quickly than with regular massage.
